The Women Agri-food Focused Business Incubation Center or WAF-BIC as it is also called is primarily a women empowerment program that aims to incubate and support women-led startups and businesses of women in aspirational districts. The objective of WAF-BIC is to develop an action plan and implementation roadmap for the growth of women engaged in the agri, food, and livestock processing sector. This will be done through better access to markets, finance, technology & networks. The project intends to build a strong ecosystem that is conducive to the growth of women start-up businesses and to drive sustainable economic growth. Through this initiative ISAP will have a positive impact on the income of women agri- preneurs and will help them grow through innovation and design.
